If you are not satisfied with the appearance you choose for your magical alter ego in the world of Hogwarts Legacy, you don't have to start over and lose your progress.
And fortunately, you will not have to wait longer to change your appearance since it is an option available in the very first hours of the game, and you'll find it during a quest of the main storyline.
Where To Change Your Character's Appearance
Madam Snelling's Tress Emporium is what you are looking for to change your appearance, and it is located in Hogsmeade. During the last step of the Attend Your First Day At Hogwarts quest, you will eventually visit Hogsmeade to gather your supplies. It is easy to find and all you have to do is follow these simple steps:
- After entering the village, walk straight ahead and keep Tomes and Scroll on your left side.
- After arriving in the middle of Ollivanders and Spintwitches Sporting Need, follow the road branch on the left of The Three Broomsticks, and proceed along the main road.
- Turning left before Zonko's Joke Shop, climb the stairs, and you will find the Emporium on your right. It is marked on the map with a scissor icon.
How To Change Your Character's Appearance
Madame Snelling can help you change your appearance but with certain limitations. You will not be able to change the model of your character, and you will have to be content with the one selected during the initial creation.
Every change will cost you 20 coins, and you will be able to make several adjustments which include:
- Changing your hairstyle and its color
- Adding or removing freckles, moles, scars, and markings
- Changing the color and the shape of your eyebrows
It isn't like drinking the Polyjuice Potion, but it will surely make you feel at ease.
