When you see the golden insignia above your head, you probably already know that it’s time to cast Protego. This will block the attack. However, if you press and hold the button that casts Protego, you’ll follow your block with Stupefy. This will stun your opponent or a different nearby opponent. Getting the timing down for this is crucial. Once you’ve mastered Protego and Stupefy, you’ll be practically unstoppable. Follow-up With Combinations

Hogwarts Legacy Counter 3

Whether you’re fighting a group or taking on a single enemy, you want to press the advantage after casting Stupefy. While an enemy is stunned, this is the perfect time to whip around that wand and build a hefty combination of attacks. Toss them into the air, pull them toward you, throw them around, and pepper in those basic attacks. Don’t let them regain their footing if you can help it.

Doing this will also allow you to charge up your ancient magic, which is also invaluable as you progress further and further into the game. Building your ancient magic will allow you to use absolutely devastating attacks and finishers against your enemies.
