The Gobermouch will appear on the Hunt Board once players have completed the Brotherhood main story quest in Act 3. Simply head back to Cid's Hideout and take a look to get information on hunting this boss down.

Where To Find Gobermouch

Once you've unlocked the Hunt Bill for Gobermouch, you'll need to find it. The closest Obelisk to Gobermouch's spawn location is Eistla in one of several of Final Fantasy 16's Kingdoms -the Kingdom of Waloed. Once at the obelisk, you'll want to follow the narrow path on your map northwest, entering the complex just south of the Maudlin Mason.

You can see exactly where to find Gobermouch in the video below.

How To Defeat Gobermouch

Gobermouch uses its club to bash up opponents. This boss only has two special attacks - Little Swing and Goblin Punch. Both are fast-moving melee abilities, so precision dodging is crucial against this boss.

Additionally, the Gobermouch's small arena makes getting backed into a corner very easy. Avoid getting trapped by focusing on positioning, made easier by the fact that the enemy attack pattern is relatively simple.

Goblin Punch

The most dangerous of the Gobermouch's attacks is Goblin Punch. It comes in three parts — each moving fast and covering a lot of ground. The technique hits hard if it connects, and it must be dodged reliably if you want to succeed.

This ability is immune to Titan's Titanic Block but not Shiva's Cold Snap. Alternatively, use precision dodge to side step.

Best Eikon Abilities To Beat Gobermouch

While many abilities can be used to beat the Gobermouch, you might benefit from switching some of your layout if you are struggling. The speed at which this boss moves, and the size of the arena (or lack thereof) makes mobility a priority. Shiva's Cold Snap is a great way to avoid getting stuck. You might also consider Titanic Block, which can be used to entirely negate Little Swing.
