Glacius is a powerful spell, cold as ice, and useful in a variety of ways. Mainly, though, its main purpose is to give enemies an ice-cold freeze and temporarily disable them from movement. This can also be used on objects. Like other magical spells, Glacius can be upgraded to be more powerful and more dangerous to those who stand in the way.

Mastery Glacius

Mastering Glacius can yield great results against enemies. To reach the Mastery Glacius, leveling up is required. Reaching level 16 is all that's required to get Mastery Glacius.

Here are some tips and tricks for leveling up:

  • Venture through the main story. Progression gives many opportunities to level up.
  • Make sure to explore the world and talk to various NPCs for side quests
  • Check the Field Guide frequently for new missions to complete

Glacius is very powerful once fully leveled up, learning it can be extremely helpful. Used for both attacking and stunning once in the Mastery rank. When successfully freezing an opponent, ice shards will propel around the area and hit other enemies nearby.

Talents To Use With Glacius

Talent Skill Tree Menu in Hogwarts Legacy

Talents are special abilities that every player can learn. Not all of them will be able to be learned, and once you choose you can't go back on it. With 48 Talents in total, there's a lot to choose from. Aiming your talents based on what path you'd like to take in the game or way of fighting makes for a more enjoyable experience. Not to mention, easier to defeat bosses.

The first that's excellent for upgrades is the Basic Cast Mastery. This talent focuses on spell cooldowns and will heighten the rate at which spells are cast. That can be essential for Glacius, as needing to fire a spell more than once to successfully freeze the opponent might be needed.

Basic Cast Airborne Absorption is similar to Basic Cast Mastery, yet it applies to airborne targets. This will prove useful, as being in a magical land, there will be magical creatures. Some of these, flying in the sky rather than on land.

Stupefy Master and Expertise are both perfect. They work hand in hand, despite being separate core talents. Stupefy affects how long an enemy will be stunned and Expertise works with Stupefy to cause it to deal direct damage to enemies. Since Glacius is based on stunning, getting those extra seconds to aim or avoid an enemy can be crucial. Expertise on the other hand improves Glacius by adding some more damage to enemies or even bosses.
