With a sprawling map of different locations in Hogwarts and Hogsmeade, Hogwarts Legacy holds many secrets to unlock as you visit new places, shops, classes, and more. Hogsmeade contains the well-known and popular Three Broomsticks Inn, offering a place to stay as well as a bar full of butterbeer for patrons.
Inside the Three Broomsticks Inn, you'll come into contact with Sirona Ryan, the owner and proprietress. She shows immediate warmth and friendliness towards you and your partner upon arriving, opening you up to forming a strong friendship with her.
Meeting Sirona At The Three Broomsticks
Upon arrival to Hogsmeade, the main character and their partner take a tour around the wizarding town while meeting new faces. Once the trolls that attack the town have been defeated, the two friends make their way to the Three Broomsticks Inn, where they are introduced to the character Sirona Ryan.
As the proprietress of the Three Broomsticks Inn, Sirona is the owner while also tasked with handling the cleaning and serving at the bar. When she first meets the two main characters, she welcomes the two to the Three Broomsticks as new visitors. She then offers some butterbeers on the house and hands them over to the two. Sirona mentions she heard about the troll attack and says she will be visiting the other shopkeepers later to make sure everyone is alright. She raises the concern that the presence of trolls in Hogsmeade is quite strange, though, which prompts Rookwood and his partner Harlow to walk into the Three Broomsticks.
Sirona confronts the two at the door, as Rookwood attempts to take the main character with him. However, Sirona successfully prevents this from happening, and raises her wand with the rest of the patrons inside the Three Broomsticks. Sirona implies that the main character is busy, forcing the two to leave the inn. After Sirona protects the two friends, a friendship gradually builds between them, and they get to know each other better over time.
Getting To Know Sirona Ryan
Sirona Ryan can be visited frequently at the Three Broomsticks in order to get to know her better and discover her story. The next time the main character visits her at the inn, she opens up about herself and talks about her friend Lodgok. We learn that she first met him when she was waiting tables at the Three Broomsticks as a student, where they initially were only cordial rather than friendly. Lodgok comes back to visit the inn and finds Sirona here, and instantly recognizes her, and they then began their friendship.
In this scene, Sirona mentions that Lodgok recognized her better than her own classmates who sometimes assumed she was a wizard rather than a witch. Sirona Ryan is the first transgender character in the Harry Potter series based on this conversation, as the developers have stated they wanted to have a whole world of characters representative of all fans.
After chatting for a while, Sirona eventually leads the main character to Lodgok to find more information on Ranrok and his Loyalists. As we head deeper into the game, more about Sirona Ryan and her life will be revealed like many other interactable characters in Hogwarts Legacy.
