While there is a massive open world beyond the walls of the castle, Hogwarts Legacy puts a lot of effort into making the school feel massive and populated with students. Despite only being a single location in the world, Hogwarts is complex enough to seem even bigger on the inside, and it can take hours for players to explore fully.
Unlike the protagonist of this game, other students tend to spend most of their time within the school's walls, which is where you can find them for many side quests. Some side quests like this one are simple yet help you explore the castle and see unique rooms you'd otherwise miss out on.
Beginning All's Well That Ends Bell
While walking through the bell tower of Hogwarts, you'll pass a Hufflepuff student named Evangeline. She'll mention that Headmaster Black ordered some of the bells at the tower of the tower be taken down as they are giving him a headache. Evangeline will tell you how much she likes them and will request you restore the bells to how they were, despite Headmaster Black's orders. Being the good rule-following student you are, you'll, of course, offer to help.
Restoring The Bells
The bells are located above the music room that is located near your current location when starting the quest. Use your field guide to lead you up to the music room, passing the Cache In The Castle's treasure location on the way. Once reaching the music room, head to the back right corner to find the stairs and start heading further up. As you climb, you'll find the first bell sitting on the platform between flights of stairs.
Cast Wingardium Leviosa to pick up the bell and walk your way up the stairs with the bell in tow. On the next platform, you'll see the other bells in the tower's center. Of the line of bells, there will be one open space for the bell you are currently carrying; as long as the bell gets close to the open spot, it will automatically lock into place.
After finishing the first bell, continue to climb up the stairs of the tower to find the second tower. You'll pass another row of bells with an open slot for another bell, and continue past it to find the second bell. The second bell will be off to the side of the staircase, in the small space between the stairs and the outer wall of the tower. Use Wingardium Leviosa on this second bell and bring it back to the second row of bells to fix it in the open slot. After putting both bells in the right place, return to Evangeline to complete the quest and get the EXP and Spellcraft table rewards.
