Hogwarts Legacy contains a massive open world with many side activities to complete and to help out the settlements around Hogwarts. These settlements are easy ways to find new quests and find new shops instead of backtracking to Hogsmeade each time you need to sell some old gear.
After traveling north of Hogwarts to the Upper Hogsfield area, you'll meet Claire Beaumont, who's having trouble with a few nearby goblin camps that are interrupting trade. There are two camps in the nearby area in particular that the player is being asked to clear out; even with the lower recommended level, this quest will scale to the player's level and can be a challenge at any point.
Starting The Mission And The First Camp
This mission is started after you overhear a merchant complaining about the goblin problem. Talking to the merchant will begin the request and mark the first goblin camp on the map for you to travel to. Both camps are close to the settlement but far enough that riding your broom will get you there much faster and more efficiently.
The first camp only has a few goblins to fight. There isn't much to use in the environment to help you fight, but it is mostly straightforward. Bringing Expelliarmus will allow you to disarm enemies and give you the ability to throw the weapon back at the goblin for a decent damage combo. The camp is also pretty small, and with many melee-oriented goblins, area-of-effect spells will be very effective and make this a very short fight.
The Second Camp
The second camp is not far from the first and will be marked on your map after clearing the first. Use your broom or flying beast to head south, where you'll see a ledge overlooking the goblin camp. This camp will be slightly larger than the first but offers a wider area to fight on, along with an overlooking cliff that's a great place to start at. These goblins will be more melee-oriented, and starting combat on the ridge will give you time to attack as they run up to your location.
Fighting from the overlooking cliff can give you a great advantage if you use force spells to move your opponents around. Depulso excels up here, and blasting an enemy off the cliff will deal incredible fall damage and require them to run back up and around to your location while you single out their friends. Accio is also a great option at the start, as Goblins will be pulled to you and stop short of where you're standing, and as the spell fades, they'll fall back down to the camp. After clearing out both camps, return to Claire and claim your reward.
