However, Valisthea is a large place, and finding all 7 Chronoliths (Ifrit does not have one) for each Eikon can be challenging. Here is a guide to help you out if you are not sure where to go, what to do, or what you will obtain for completing the challenges.

What Are Chronolith Trials?

Final Fantasy 16 Chronolith Trial

Chronolith Trials are very similar to the Arete Stone (in appearance and function). They allow Clive to enter into a battlefield that only Clive can enter (no party members will follow you). From there, you will be given a trial that you must complete within a certain time limit. You will need to kill hordes of enemies and stay alive for the entire time. The only catch is that you can only use Eikon's abilities from a single Eikon during these trials. Each of the Eikons will have their own unique trial.

You can visit the Chronolith Trials locations at any time. However, you will not unlock them until completing the quest "Fire in the Sky" during the main storyline.
