Completing hunts will reward players with large sums of Gil and Renown, along with the additional items dropped from the beast. Hunts will also be assigned different rankings based on the difficulty of the monster being hunted, so players know what they are getting themselves into.

Where To Find The Bomb King

The Bomb King's Location On The World And Local Map

The Bomb King's information will only appear on the Hunt Board after beginning the quest "Weird Science." After beginning this quest talk to Nektar the Moogle to have The Bomb King's bulletin appear. The Bomb King is said to be in The Crock region of Sanbreque. Travel to The Dragon's Arey and begin heading south. You'll find a path going southeast called The Imperial Chase; take it until you find the path on the left before the large abandoned building. Continue forward to the Fallen ruins to find the Bomb King within.

Although the below video displays where to find Terminus, the Bomb King is also in this exact location.

How To Defeat The Bomb King

Clive Fighting The Bomb King With Eikon Abilities

The Bomb King is a magic-focused enemy that is able to do explosive amounts of damage in seconds, literally. Many of these spells will be ranged fireball-like spells that are often easy to dodge or have a small AOE, which is also dodged just as easily. The Bomb King does not have a stagger bar, keeping it up and fighting the entire time.

Bring quick abilities that will allow you to disengage and dodge away, as this boss also comes with some bomb-style attacks. Coronation will create a massive explosion that will need at least two dodges to get out of range. Try making the second dodge out of the affected area a perfect dodge to use the counter-attack to jump back to the King. Phoenix Strike will also be useful in this fight after the boss launches a damaging attack, allowing you to always jump back into action after running away.

This enemy's most powerful move is King's Justice, and when you see it, start running. This ability will spawn many other smaller bombs that will all detonate together for incredible amounts of damage. The additional spawns will quickly blow up and are not worth the time of actually fighting, so run away until the explosions are finished and resume focus on the main enemy.
