The Grimalkin's location can be found by talking to Nektar the Moogle to see the hunt Board. The Grimalkin is located in The Cattery region of Dhalmekia. Travel to The Jaw Obelisk and begin heading north. Follow the eastern path through the Sickle, then south down the valley. At the end of the valley will be some Fallen ruins with a pack of wild dogs led by the Grimalkin.

How To Defeat The Grimalkin

Clive Fighting The Grimalkin With Eikon Abilities

Upon finding the beast, you'll first need to take out the rest of the pack. Then the Grimalkin will jump in. There will be three waves or regular enemies. Use them as an opportunity to build up your limit break energy. After defeating the rest of the pack, the Grimalkin will jump down and begin fighting you.

Mostly, this enemy fights the same way as the Republican War Panther. Many of its attacks will be a forward lunge swiping one of its paws at you. Dodge in the opposite direction of the lunging paw to get around the beast and land a few attacks. This enemy will also have the Savage attack and will use it often. This attack will have it swinging wildly multiple times before jumping back, then lunging forward at you one last time. Whenever you see this attack, prepare to dodge and wait for the second lunge before beginning your counter-attack. The delay after this attack is a good chance to charge up delayed attacks, such as Titan's Windup. Beyond these attacks, this beast is a simple fight once you get the dodge timing down.
