Diablo 4's late-game progression system is vast. Once you've reached level 50, the fun really begins with the unlocking of your Paragon Board. Paragon Boards are large-scale customizable upgrades to your character. In these boards are empty sockets where players can socket special glyphs for even more customizability.

However, you may have noticed that you don't have access to all of these Glyphs. Instead, you only seem to have access to the worst ones. This is because each class has twenty findable glyphs and a handful of free ones. For more information on how to get these glyphs, what they do, and which Sorcerer Glyphs are the best keep reading.

How To Get Paragon Glyphs

Seven Paragon Glyphs from Diablo 4 side by side

While you will get access to all the Sorcerer's Magic Glyphs when you unlock the Paragon Board at level 50, Rare Glyphs are just better in every way. To unlock the Rare Glyphs, you'll need to pick up dropped glyphs while playing the game. Glyphs are most likely to drop from Elite and Boss enemies, although they've been known to appear in a chest or a Vendor's shop as well.

To have the best chances of finding Paragon Glyphs, it is suggested to run content with many Elites and a Boss, such as Nightmare Dungeons.

Best Paragon Glyphs For Sorcerers

An image showing 7 Paragon Glyphs with the Paragon Board in the background

Unlike most classes, which only have two or three standout options, many of the Sorcerer Glyphs are considered high-tier. The four best are Control, Exploit, Imbiber, and Territorial. Additionally, while more situational, Elementalist is nothing to sneeze at either.

Control

Control provides a large buff to damage Crowd Controlled enemies. You can expect the biggest numbers to come from hitting Stunned or Frozen targets, although Chilled and Slowed enemies will also take substantially more damage. This is great news for ice-focused Sorcerers, as many of their spells are capable of Chilling or Freezing targets.

Exploit

Exploit is similar to Control, but procs on Vulnerable targets. The Vulnerable status condition is very important for late-game damage, and most builds should have a reliable way of applying it. To get the most out of this glyph, place it near Dexterity Nodes.

Imbiber

Imbiber is a glyph that all classes have a similar (although tweaked) version of. The reason why it is good for sorcerers is due to their relatively nonmobile but squishy nature. Imbiber's ability to buff your Health Potions as well as rewarding your fancy footwork with a damage bonus makes it a great addition to any build.

Territorial

Territorial's free defensive stats make a big difference in your survivability, something that many Sorcerer builds lack. While you'll want to be doing damage from range, this isn't always possible due to enemies running up to you and having no minions to block their way. As a result, damage reduction from close enemies can come in clutch during those surprise ambushes.

Elementalist

While most builds rely on a primary element, you can also create a build that cycles through multiple damage types. If this is the path you've chosen, Elementalist becomes a top-tier glyph. It provides a damage bonus for hitting enemies with non-physical damage, which can stack when applied with multiple elements. If you can stack all three damage types in quick succession, all enemies hit will take 15% increased damage from you for 10 seconds.
