As one of the members of the Stellaron Hunters, you'll often find Kafka side by side with Blade and even Silver Wolf as well. Though she is often on the wanted list of the Interastral Peace Corporation, many are still impressed by her abilities and elegance.
Kafka is a 5-Star Lightning type character following the Nihility Path in Honkai Star Rail. Despite the Nihility Path often housing Support-type characters, Kafka is best suited to a Sub-DPS role with her powerful AoE damage.
Kafka's Best Build & Relic Sets
As with any DPS build, you'll want to increase Kafka's ATK, CRIT Stats, and SPD. This will ensure that she is dealing heavy AoE damage to the enemies on the field, while the increase in SPD will allow her to attack more often. Here are the best Relic Sets to choose for her.
4-Set Of Band Of Sizzling Thunder
The 2-Set of Band of Sizzling Thunder will increase Kafka's Lightning DMG by 10 percent. The 4-Set will increase her ATK by 20 percent for 1 turn after she uses her Skill. Since you'll often be utilizing Kafka's Skill and Ultimate, this set is a great way to boost Kafka's overall damage.
2-Set Of Space Sealing Station
The 2-Set of Space Sealing Station will increase Kafka's ATK by 12 percent. When her SPD reaches 120 or higher, her ATK will increase by an extra 12 percent. This set is another reason why you should ensure Kafka's SPD is as high as possible. You'll receive another ATK bonus from this set, making the damage dealt from Kafka incredibly high. You'll want to focus the most on ATK and SPD with Kafka's build, especially if you are using Space Sealing Station. These will be the best sources of DMG for her. You'll also want to add in a bit of CRIT DMG and CRIT Rate, and Effect Hit Rate will increase the chances of applying Shocked on enemies.
Kafka's Best Light Cones
Kafka has a few different Light Cones to choose from, with most of her best options focusing on increasing her DMG or SPD. Here are a few of our favorites for the Stellaron Hunter.
5-Star Light Cone: Patience Is All You Need
Patience Is All You Need will increase Kafka's DMG dealt by 24 percent. After every attack launched by Kafka, her SPD will increase by 4.8 percent, stacking up to three times. If she hits an enemy target that is not afflicted by Erode, there is a 100 percent base chance to inflict Erode onto the target. Enemies afflicted with Erode are also considered to be Shocked and will receive Lightning DoT (Damage over Time) at the start of each turn equal to 60 percent of Kafka's ATK, lasting for 1 turn. Patience Is All You Need is Kafka's signature Light Cone, so if you have the chance to pick it up, we highly recommend it. It is the best way to increase all of Kafka's important stats, including ATK and SPD.
4-Star Light Cone: Good Night And Sleep Well
Good Night and Sleep Well will increase Kafka's DMG dealt by 12 percent, stacking up to three times, for every debuff the target enemy has. This effect also applies to DoT (Damage over Time). Kafka has a few abilities that use DoT, so this Light Cone will allow you to increase Kafka's overall DMG easily.
Additional 4-Star Light Cone: Fermata
Fermata will increase Kafka's Break Effect by 16 percent, and increase her DMG to enemies afflicted with Shock or Wind Shear by 16 percent. This also applies to DoT. Instead of a 3-Star Light Cone, we recommend picking up the 4-Star Fermata from the Forgotten Hall instead. Kafka has the ability to apply Shock on enemies, and she can also create DoT, so this Light Cone will be a great alternative to Good Night and Sleep Well if you can't pick that one up.
Kafka's Best Team Compositions
As Kafka will most likely play the role of a Sub-DPS, you'll want to pair her with a Main DPS and a couple Supports. Having a Support that can buff her ATK or SPD will be especially beneficial. Here are a few characters we recommend, as well as a couple alternatives.
