Ever since Generation VIII in the Pokemon games, players have been able to find special Pokemon that have marks on them. These marks are rare purely cosmetic items that allow you to give your Pokemon special Titles.

RELATED: Pokemon Scarlet & Violet: Meowscarada Build GuideTitles, also introduced in Generation VIII, are purely cosmetic items that allow you to give your Pokemon certain nicknames. Marks are similar to Ribbons as Ribbons also give out Titles. However, Pokemon can only ever have a Ribbon or a Mark equipped at any given time, they cannot have both.

Marks Available

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Mark-2

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet introduced 9 new Marks: the Alpha Mark, Destiny Mark, Gourmand Mark, Itemfinder Mark, Jumbo Mark, Mightiest Mark, Mini Mark, Partner Mark, and Titan Mark. With the addition of these 9 Marks, there are now 50 Marks within the Pokemon world. You're able to find most Marks on wild Pokemon with around a 1% chance. However, there are some Marks that will always appear on certain Pokemon. Unlike Ribbons, Marks (with the exception of a few) must be found on the Pokemon when you catch them. While Ribbons act similarly to Marks, Ribbons are awarded to Pokemon for completing certain activities. If you're looking to catch a Pokemon with a certain nickname, you can check out the list below.
