The last episode of Horimiya focused on characters who didn't get much attention in the original anime, such as Sakura, Yanagi and Honoka. There's a running theme in the episode, which is how the characters perceive the situation based on their inferiority complex, and act awkwardly because they're dominated by their feelings of inferiority.

For example, when Sakura meets Yanagi at the bookstore, she discovers that they both like the Weekly Shinobi (a blatant Naruto rip-off magazine) and they hit it off soon after. The problem is that they both act awkwardly around each other because of a shared inferiority complex. Sakura thinks that Yanagi is as cool and cute as a character from the manga she reads and more cool than her, while Yanagi is not even aware of his strengths and only focuses on what's good about Sakura and how she encourages others around her.

The same thing happens with Honoka later in the episode. She tries to put up a poster on a bulletin board to help other club members in her class recruit more students. But since the girls in her class shun her, she thinks Sengoku is looking down on her feelings by wanting to remove her poster from the bulletin board, when in fact all he wanted was to move it to the entrance bulletin board where it would be more obvious to the eye.
