Pokemon Go Fest 2023 is marking the debut of Mega Rayquaza, the Dragon/Flying type Legendary Pokemon which many would recall from one of the most beloved games in the franchise, Pokemon Emerald. There is special research tied to it as well, which fans can take part in to get a plethora of rewards, such as Meteorites, Mega Energy, and much more.

The first day of Go Fest has been lackluster at best, as fans have been quite disappointed with the non-ticket experience of Go Fest. The lack of enough special research has been one of the major reasons for the community's disapproval. To make things even worse, the ticket experience hasn't been the best either, as fans have reported the shiny rates to be abysmally low, despite the ticket giving it a boost. With the second day about to kick off, fans are expecting that this will have much more to offer.

The Sky High Special Research is a pretty small special research, consisting of just a couple of steps. As always, there are multiple rewards you can get by taking part in the special research, with some attributed to a particular task, and others tied to a step. The highlights of the special research include a meteorite and a Rayquaza sticker, alongside the usual berries, potions, and Poke balls. Here are all the tasks and rewards for each step.

If you have bought the Pokemon Go Fest 2023 Ticket, which is available for $15, you get an extra special research you can take part in. If you have not taken part in the first day of the Pokemon Go Fest, it is probably not worth buying the event ticket merely for this special research, although the rewards might look quite lucrative at first.
