Pokemon Go Fest is back with a plethora of exciting special research tasks alongside new Pokemon, shiny debuts, and tons of rewards. This year's event is focused around Diancie, the Rock and Fairy type Mythical Pokemon, alongside Rayquaza, which is all set to make its mega debut as part of the event. Apart from the special research of the aforementioned Pokemon, players will also get a chance to take part in some interesting Habitat field research tasks.
Once the event kicks off, a new habitat will be the theme of the event for the next hour. There are a total of four habitats that will be featured during the event, namely, Quartz Terrarium, Pyrite Sands, Malachite Wilderness, Aquamarine Shores, and each one of them will be bringing a number of unique Pokemon that will be exclusive to that habitat. There are a number of Pokemon that you don't see usually, so it is definitely a good idea to try out the habitats at least once.

Pokemon Go Habitat Field Research Tasks & Rewards
Alongside the increased spawn rate of specific Pokemon, the Habitat hours will also feature field research which players can take part in to earn a number of rewards and get some exciting Pokemon. Notably, each habitat will feature a Pikachu with the respective Habitat crown. There are two categories of field research tasks players can take part in, one involving the habitat-specific ones and the other being the regular ones.
