Once you go inside the Defiled Temple, you will see four circles on the floor. You can interact with them to change their positions and move the moons from one circle to the other. To solve this puzzle, you have to put the moons in a specific way. You have to put all the dark moons in the bottom circle, half black and half white moons in the middle, and keep the white ones at the top.

This can be done by following various different steps, and each player can go about how they feel. Since you know what to do, we recommend trying to solve this puzzle on your own. But if you need some help, here are the steps to do it:

  1. Move the top circle to bring the dark moon to the left circle.
  2. Move the left circle three times to bring that dark moon to the bottom while moving half moon to the top.
  3. Now, move the bottom circle to alight two half moons together in the left circle.
  4. Lastly, move the left circle twice to complete this side of the puzzle.
  5. Move the right circle twice to move the dark moon at the bottom circle and the half moon at the top.
  6. After that, move the bottom circle once to bring the half-moon up into the right circle.
  7. Finally, move the right circle twice to complete the puzzle.

It's worth noting that the steps above will not work if you have messed with the puzzle before since these steps assume the circles in their default position. When you solve this puzzle, you will get a notification and some dialogues indicating that you have successfully solved the puzzle and opened a path.
