The world of Baldur's Gate 3 is full of different activities for you to do. Puzzles are one of these activities, and this game takes them a step further by adding a level of depth only a few games manage to do. One such puzzle that you will come across is the Thorm Mausoleum Puzzle.

How To Solve Thorm Mausoleum Puzzle

Baldur's Gate 3 Moonrise Towers for Thorm Mausoleum puzzle

When you go inside the Thorm Mausoleum, you will be stuck in a room where there will be no apparent way to move forward. If you notice, there are three different buttons below the paintings, and you can press them. However, pressing all three of the buttons is not the way to open the door; instead, you have to press them in a certain order.

It's important to note the names of each painting when solving this puzzle. You can check the names by hovering your mouse over these paintings. The names of these paintings are Moonrise Towers, Grief, and General. Here is the order to press the buttons to open a way and solve the Thorm Mausoleum Puzzle in Baldur's Gate 3.

  • Press the button underneath the Moonrise Towers painting at the bottom left of the room.
  • Press the Grief painting button on the bottom right side of the room.
  • Lastly, press the button below the General painting in front of the room to open the two doors beside it.

Once these doors open, you can head inside, and there will be an elevator leading to the Gauntlet of Shar. After you go down using the elevator, there will be a series of more puzzles to solve and progress in the game.
