How To Get The Wolf Rune In Baldur's Gate 3

Pickpocketing the wolf rune from Rath in Baldur's Gate 3

The only person to get the wolf rune in Baldur's Gate 3 is Rath, an NPC sitting in the main hall where the puzzle is. There are three ways to get the rune out of him. The first is to hide and get behind him. This will open a way for you to steal it from his belongings.

The second way is to kill Rath and loot it from his body. However, this will ruin the Grove questline for you, where you need him to progress through it. The third way is to complete the Grove questline, which is quite long. Depending on your choices throughout, he will give you the stone once you are done.

Once you have the wolf rune, head over to where the animal pedestals are and place the wolf stone in its place. Now, activate all four of the pedestals one by one, and the statue will go down, opening a path for you.
