We have been able to find three different places where you can get the Infernal Iron in BG3. Here are all of these places.

Goblin Camp

You can start by visiting the goblin camp. Towards the very end of their camp, you will find a room with the Infernal Iron. You have to click on loot for the entire gold stash here, and it will show the Infernal Iron, which you can easily loot.

Blighted Village

For this location, you have to head inside the Shabby Wooden Doors on the left side of the fast travel point. Inside, break the net on the floor and jump. Here you will see many chests, and in one at the top, you can get the Infernal Iron.

Zhentarim Hideout

Lastly, you can look for Infernal Iron at the Zhentarim Hideout. You will have to make your way inside and go towards the very end. Lockpick the very last door here, and inside, you will find two wooden chests. Lockpick them, and inside the left chest, you will find the Infernal Iron.

There might be more locations where you can get Infernal Iron, but the above three locations guarantee you will find it. If you go to all of these, you will get enough Infernal Iron for most average needs.
