Rules Of The Puzzle

Baldur's gate 3 Statues Eagle

This puzzle features several animal-themed statues. Each of these statues are standing guard over a specific part of the map. You will need to progress past each of these points without these statues detecting any threat. There are three easy options available to you no matter your party composition.

Invisibility

There is a second-level spell called Invisibility. It can be learned by Bards, Sorcerers, Warlocks, and Wizards. Each of these spell casters will gain access to a second-level spell slot at level 3. Simply make a group member invisible and have them waltz right on by without triggering any of the statues. They don't even need to be your primary stealth pick such as a Rogue or Ranger. If you do not have any of these classes in your group, you can still gain invisibility thanks to an Invisibility Potion. If you have no second-level spell slots, Fog Cloud is a first-level spell that your stealthiest character can use to help conceal them as they sneak past. Fog Cloud is available to the Wizard, Ranger Druid, and Sorcerer classes.

Wild Shape

The Druid is able to wild shape into an inconspicuous kitty cat. This form will not trigger the statues' gazes, and you will be able to pitter patter on past without a care.

Ranged Attacks

You can simply use your ranged attackers to let loose at the statues to destroy each of them from a safe distance.

Deactivating The Runes
