Final Fantasy 16 will give you many opportunities to make Gil, these will almost always come with secondary benefits making your choice of how to make Gil also come with pushing other goals you may have in mind. Common examples would be to check off some of the hunting options like Dozmare, Sekhret, and when you're ready for an Rank A hunt, Prince Flan.

These will allow you to keep checking things off your to-do list while also making some cash in the process. The amount of Gil you get will fluctuate tremendously though. If you have no Gil and just want to get some as fast as possible, there are 2 ways you can go about doing this.

Sell Everything You Don’t Use

This is not as desirable as the next option you will get, but this will net you Gil and very fast. A lot of players hoard tons of items they never use in games. This is most commonly found in RPGs and sandbox games. If you are low on Gil and see something you want, just sell everything you don’t want. It is worth noting that you don't need to sell all your precious consumables, as some of the items in your inventory are mentioned as being “valuable” and these should always be sold for their really high Gil values.

Farm Gil Fast Through Bluebirds

Bluebirds are an enemy in the game that can be found in multiple locations. Defeating them can get you Goblin Coins. You can sell these for 800 Gil per Goblin Coin, making it a great way to just rinse through combat encounters and then claim all your Gil at once. Bluebirds also give Ability Points, so you will be able to upgrade and master some abilities at the same time.

There are several locations you can find your targets. Three of them are in Northreach and two of them are in Martha’s Rest. Once you farm all the Bluebirds in one of these locations, just fast travel to reset them and repeat the process. Below, you will find all the marked locations for Northreach.
