Final Fantasy 16 will give you plenty of great abilities to try out and form combos between. These abilities will come from both Clive’s own abilities and the abilities he will be able to make use of from the Eikons he obtains as the player plays through the story of the game. One such Eikon is Titan. This Eikon’s dominant is Hugo Kupka, and he will be an opponent that Clive will face off against in the main quest called Capital Punishment.

After defeating Hugo, the abilities of Titan will become available to the player going forth. Like almost all the other Eikons, Titan will offer 5 abilities you can make use of. Titan Eikon’s abilities have a big focus on mitigating the damage done to you by blocking it, then following up with counterattacks.

5 Raging Fists

This ability is all about getting into your target's face and dealing a ton of damage, making it a truly great way to just tear through opponents. If an opponent attacks you right at the start of the ability, their attack will be blocked and give you a higher attack potency and half the cooldown of the ability. This ability is a relentless barrage, and its duration can be extended before its cooldown starts by following up with more attacks.

It has a base cost of 120 ability points, followed by a cost of 600 more ability points to upgrade it for the first time — and, finally, 1000 more ability points to master it. This comes to a total of 1720 ability points. Upgrading this ability will increase its attack potency, and mastering it will allow you to use it with any of your other Eikons.

4 Windup

final fantasy 16 titan Windup

This ability is one of the most fun abilities that comes with the Titan Eikon. Using the ability without any charge-up will simply have you throw out a punch. However, if you hold down this ability at the start of it, then it will have you wind up your punch. You will be able to slowly move around while winding up. This lets you inch closer to an enemy or wait for it come charging into your attack with an incredibly satisfying impact. Attacks you wind up by holding down will have a much higher potency. You will know when you will have the maximum effect thanks to an indicator.

This window of opportunity is called a Precision Windup. This ability has no base cost, so you’re free to just start using it right out of the gate. You can upgrade it for 660 ability points and master it by spending another 1000. Upgrading it will extend the window of opportunity to pull off a Precision Windup, and mastering it will allow you to assign this ability to any of your Eikons.

3 Upheaval

This is the go-to area of effect ability among those of the Titan. Whenever you find yourself surrounded, you will be able to slam a mighty fist into the ground and deal damage to all enemies within range. You can hold down this ability to increase the range that it covers. This ability can be used both on the ground and in the air. In fact, it is recommended you use this ability from as high up as you can be. The higher you are, the more powerful this attack will be with it deals its damage.

This makes its overall damage output to a large group significantly higher than your Windup, and it is cheaper. With no base cost, an upgrade cost of only 525 ability points, and a mastery cost of 1000 ability points, this ability can be mastered for only 1525 points. Upgrading it will give you a larger window of opportunity for precise attacks, and mastering it will allow you to assign this to any of your Eikons.

2 Earthen Fury

This ability utterly trounces Upheaval; however, it has a staggeringly higher cost. It is still good to have Upheaval while this ability is on its cooldown. When you find yourself surrounded, use this ability to send both your fists into the ground, creating a burst of force that will knock smaller enemies sailing away from you, and unleashing a barrage of hits on all opponents affected. It’s a simple means of having a ton of crowd control from a single ability.

Its base cost is higher than the total cost of Upheaval, sitting at a jaw-dropping 1895 ability points base cost. Its first upgrade will cost you an even higher 2525 ability points, and mastering it will add up to 4500, putting this ability’s total cost at 8920 ability points. Upgrading it will increase the ability’s range and the number of hits your enemies will receive. Mastering it will allow you to assign this ability to any of your other Eikons.

1 Titanic Block

This is a brilliant defense ability and something players will want if they prefer really getting in the faces of their foes for an up close and personal slugfest of a gameplay style. Using this ability will have you throw up your guard and block incoming attacks. Timing these blocks can allow you to throw out what is known as a Precision Block. Using a Precision Block will allow you to follow up with counterattacks, turning this great defense into an even better offense. You are able to slowly move around while keeping your guard up against attacks.

Blocked attacks will fill up your Limit Break gauge. This ability has no base cost, and upgrading it will immediately give you mastery over it for the single cost of only 800 ability points. Once mastered, blocking will increase the amount that the Limit Break gauge is filled per block. Improving your Limit Break and using the right consumables will have you wiping out waves of enemies without breaking a sweat. This is easily the best Eikonic Ability in the game, bar none.
