Finding the Wind Shard is pretty straightfoward, you can find this item from destroying Geruda, the Eikon of Wind. Thankfully, finding Geruda is easy; in fact, all you need to do is play the game. You will come across her naturally as you progress.

The Wind Shard's description reads "The power of the Eikon Garuda made manifest. This shard of crystal is light as a feather and can be heard to emit a soft hum when held to the ear." This mysterious Shard is given to Clive at the end of the fight, but it isn't obvious what to do from there. Like most materials, it can be used to craft something amazing to help Clive as he traverses the world.

The Wind Shard is not the only Eikon Shard that you will come across in the game. As you progress, you will be able to craft some pretty powerful items using these Shards, so be sure you check the Blacksmith each time you finish a battle with an Eikon.

Once you craft the Stormcry Sword, you can use it at anytime. Thankfully, it should be better than any sword you have up to this point, even the pre-order bonus. The sword does 135 Damage and 135 Stagger to your enemies.
