17 Anabella Rosfield - Christina Cole

Anabella Rosfield - Christina Cole

The evil mother of Clive and Joshua, Anabella, married the archduke of Rosaria in an arranged marriage to ensure that the Phoenix would remain in the main ducal bloodline. After the incident that claimed the life of the Duke, Anabella took over the reins of the region, driving it to the ground due to her poor management. She is an antagonist in the series despite being the blood-related mother of the main character, Clive.

Her voice actor, Christina Cole, did a fantastic job bringing her character to life. She managed to catch the nuance of Anabella's character quite well without compromising on the evil stepmother vibe. Christina doesn't have any major accolades to her name and doesn't appear in many famous IPs, with her most prominent appearance being in Suits as Dr. Paula Agard. However, she has performed minor roles in various video games, such as Warhammer 40k and The Call of Cthulu.

16 Elwin Rosfield - John Hopkins

Elwin Rosfield - John Hopkins

Elwin is a relatively important character in the series. He is the father of Clive and Joshua and the adopted father of Jill. As the archduke of Rosaria, he holds an important position in the kingdom. Despite his haughty position, Elwin himself is quite a nice person. He did his best to improve the living condition of Bearers in his kingdom, and he even supported Clive even after his eldest child was rejected by the Phoenix.

The voice actor of Elwin, John Hopkins, is completely unrelated to the famous philanthropist and founder of John Hopkins University. This John Hopkins was a theater kid in college, performing in various plays during his college years (and getting awards for them too). He made his major debut as a character in Midsomer Murders, going on to perform as the voice actor for various famous IPs such as Hilda and The Mountain King, the Hitman Franchise, Horizon Zero Dawn, and Horizon Forbidden West, among many others.

15 Vivian Ninetales - Lara Sawalha

Vivian Ninetales - Lara Sawalha

Vivian Ninetails is one of the characters that can be found in Cid's hideout. She acts as a source of exposition, explaining information about the realm of Valisthea to the player and clearing up any confusion. Vivian also keeps track of events as they occur during Clive's adventures, making the world a lot more real.

Lara Sawalha, Vivian's voice actor, appears in a handful of other shows and games, but she is relatively new to the voice acting scene. Her most notable appearance is in Cyberpunk 2077 as one of the extra voices. She also appears as Jasmine Dajani in the BBC soap opera Doctors and acts as Fida Hamad in Casualty.

14 Harpocrates - Edmund Dehn

Harpocrates - Edmund Dehn

Harpocrates is the keeper of knowledge and the person who maintains the 'Thousand Tomes', which contain the majority of the lore information. As the player plays more of the game, Harpocrates will level up and give you more information accordingly. Unlocking more information in the Thousand Tomes is, in fact, a side quest in the game.

He is voiced by Edmund Dehn, an age-old voice actor that's relatively unknown. Most of his roles in various media have been as a judge, doctor, or uncle. He also appears in Star Wars: Empire at War as the voice of Admiral Ackbar.

13 Tarja - Michelle Fox

Tarja - Michelle Fox

Physicians hold a special place in any player's heart. They give them much-needed care, patch up their wounds, and give them the kind of motherly attitude that they need in their lives. She is also a potential love interest for the player, going on a date with Clive in one of the side quests (though you'll have to choose between her and Jill).

Michaela, Tarja's voice actor, is also a British actor. Incidentally, she also stars in both Casualty and Doctors. She also has a major role in A Very English Scandal, playing the part of Lyn.

12 Jote - Jessica Clark

Jote - Jessica Clark

One of the Undying in service of the Rosfield family, Jote, is Joshua's companion. She displays a staggering amount of loyalty to the budding adventurer, being the one who helped keep him safe ever since the battle between the Eikons.

The voice actor behind Jote is Jessica Clark. She is relatively popular in the voice acting industry, playing recognizable roles such as Serena from Dragon Quest XI. She also appears in both Casualty and Doctors. Do these British VAs have a cabal around those two shows, or what?

11 Wade - Harry Hepple

Wade - Harry Hepple

One of the loyal soldiers under the duke's employ, Wade, plays an important role in the story of the Rosfield family. As the Shield of Rosaria, Wade is an axe user who accompanies Clive to Stillwind to verify the rumors of northern beastmen.

Well known for his works in the BBC acting world, Henry Hepple does voice acting for Wade. He is most famous for his role in the trailblazing sitcom Boy Meets Girl. Unsurprisingly, he also appears in Doctors, though he's missing his Casualty certification.

10 Tyler - John Heffernan

Tyler - John Heffernan

Seeing Sir Tyler and Sir Wade, it's hard not to immediately think of them as reincarnations of Biggs and Wedge, meme characters referencing the Star Wars Saga, a running gag in the Final Fantasy series. Many people sighed in resignation when they were sent on a sidequest by the Duke, but colorful characters like Sir Wade and Sir Tyler, who's also a soldier in the Duchy's employment, make even mundane quests worth it.

Returning after his stellar performance as Barnjer in Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker, John Heffernan takes on the role of Tyler in the newest addition to the Final Fantasy Franchise. He is also the voice of Nero in Final Fantasy XIV: Shadowbringers. Like seemingly every other British actor, John has also made an appearance in Casualty, though he has yet to approach Doctors.

9 Barnabas Tharmr - David Menkin

Barnabas Tharmr - David Menkin

The embodiment of the dark knight archetype, and the dominant of Odin, Barnabas is a cloaked king clad in all-black armor. He even has a 'fabled black blade.' Talk about edgy.

The voice actor of Barnabas, David Menkin, is most famous for voicing Luke Skywalker in Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga. He also appears in Sandman, Assassin's Creed: Valhalla, and voices Breach from Valorant.

8 Dion Lesage - Stewart Clarke

Dion Lesage - Stewart Clarke

Dion "The Wise" Lesange is the crown prince of the Holy Empire of Sanbreque and the leader of an order of knights of dragoons. So it's no surprise that he's also the Dominant of the King of Dragons, Bahamut. A fan-favorite, Dion is based on the dragoon archetype and acts as the less angsty reflection of Clive.

He is voiced acted by Stewart Clarke, a relatively unknown actor whose most recognizable role would be Ethan Reed (a datapoint) in Horizon: Forbidden West. It's definitely a pleasant surprise to see lesser-known actors take the spotlight in high-profile IPs like Final Fantasy.

7 Hugo Kupka - Alex Lanipekun

Hugo Kupka - Alex Lanipekun

After awakening as the Dominant of the Eikon Titan, Hugo quickly rose to a position of power in the Dhalmekian kingdom as the Permanent Economic Advisor. He is seemingly in a romantic relationship with Benedikta Harman.

Alex Lanipekun, an actor and director, takes a gander at the voicing Hugo. He also stars in different series and TV shows such as MI-5, The Rising, and Homeland. He also plays a couple of miscellaneous voices in Mass Effect: Andromeda.

6 Benedikta Harman - Nina Yndis

Benedikta Harman - Nina Yndis

One of the more mysterious characters introduced in the demo, Benedikta Harman, is an intelligence officer under King Barnabas, appearing and disappearing from the spotlight at different moments in the game.

Best known for her roles as Kavetka in Peaky Blinders, Nina Ydis takes the stage with her performance as Benedikta in the game. Interestingly, she also appears as an additional voice in Lego Star Wars: Rise of the Skywalkers, similar to the voice actor of her liege, David Menkin.

5 Cidolfus Telamon - Ralph Ineson

Cidolfus Telamon - Ralph Ineson

A recurring name in the Final Fantasy franchise, Cid is typically used to represent the scientific inventor archetype, and that doesn't change for Cidolfus Telamon either. As a part of the main party, the player interacts with him a decent amount. He is the dominant of the lightning Eikon Ramuh, and one of his goals is greater freedom of Dominants.

Cidolfus' voice actor, Ralph Ineson, is a decorated actor and voice artist, appearing in many recognizable IPs and media. He played Amycus Carrow, a death eater, in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part II, and acted as Willaim in the Witcher season.

4 Jill Warrick (Past) - Charlotte McBurney

Jill Warrick (Past) - Charlotte McBurney

A political hostage in the past, Jill was raised in the Rosfield household as a member of the family, forming close bonds with Clive and Joshua. Later, she gets separated from the two and thrust into the world on her own.

Charlotte McBurney plays the voice for the younger version of Jill Warrick (13 years old) and does a fantastic job. Though that isn't that surprising considering her laurels as the voice of Amicia in the A Plague Tale video games

3 Jill Warrick (Present) - Susannah Fielding

Jill Warrick (Present) - Susannah Fielding

After being separated from the Rosfields, Jill Warrick gains the terrifying powers of the Eikon Shiva. After nearly a decade apart from her childhood friend, Jill joins Clive and helps him on his quest. Ultimately, she ends up giving up her Eikon to Clive, thankfully, without dying in the process.

2 Joshua Rosfield - Logan Hannan

Joshua Rosfield - Logan Hannan

The character motivation for Clive, his younger brother, and the Eikon of the Phoenix, Joshua Rosfield, is pivotal to the Final Fantasy 16 storyline, with a leg and a half steeped into the world's lore.

He is voiced by Logan Hannan, co-star of the A Plague Tale series and child actor. He also appears as different voices in Hogwarts Legacy, including Archie Bickle and Lucan Brattleby. He also plays Custard in the movie Earwig and The Witch.

1 Clive Rosfield - Ben Starr

Clive Rosfield - Ben Starr

The main character of the Final Fantasy 16 video game, Clive Rosfield (sometimes referred to as Wyvern), is a man driven by revenge. Though he's the firstborn son to the Archduke of Rosaria, he didn't inherit the power of the Pheonix, putting him below his younger brother in the view of his mother. Though he does have the power of the mysterious second Eikon of Fire, Ifrit.

The voice actor for Clive is Ben Starr, a well-known face in the industry. He's played different characters in TV shows ranging from Harry in You & Me to Niko Leandros in You. However, he's most recognizable in the series Jamestown as the only Doctor in the settlement. Because of his background playing characters in fantasy settings, Ben is a great fit for Clive's character.
