Some of them will focus on your hit points and how you may recover them, while others focus on your more combat-focused abilities. Having a good blend of them will greatly assist you in combat.

25 Ring Of Swiftshot

Final Fantasy 16 Swiftshot

This accessory will reduce how long it will take you to fully charge up your Charged Magic ability. The time reduced may seem very low, but pulling off several successful Charged Magic shots will stack over time.

The number of shots you will be able to make in the same amount of time will add up over time. The reduced time to charge is 0.2 seconds per Charged Magic shot. You can acquire this accessory by completing “Faith Undying”.

24 Breath Of Wind (Aerial Blast)

Final Fantasy 16 Breath of wind (Aerial Blast)

This accessory will reduce the cooldown of your Aerial Blast Ability. The amount of time reduced is 11 seconds, but this can be increased to a reduction of 22 seconds by upgrading this accessory.

Its description reads as follows, “Residual wind aether that, having failed to dissipate on the battlefield, has instead manifested into a solid form not unlike crystal, but with an elemental purity that renders it far more potent, if not highly specialized in its applications.” It can be found in a chest inside Drake’s Breath.

23 Breath Of Earth (Earthen Fury)

Final Fantasy 16 Breath of Earth (Earthen Fury)

This accessory will reduce the cooldown of your Earthen Fury Ability. The amount of time reduced is 13.5 seconds, but this can be increased to a reduction of 27 seconds by upgrading this accessory.

Its description reads as follows, “Residual earth aether that, having failed to dissipate on the battlefield, has instead manifested into a solid form not unlike crystal, but with an elemental purity that renders it far more potent, if not highly specialized in its applications.” It can be acquired during the quest, Through the Maelstrom” by opening a chest in The Einherjar.

22 Favor Of Wind (Gouge)

Final Fantasy 16 Favour of wind (Gouge)

This accessory will give you increased damage whenever you use your Gouge Ability. The increased damage will be 15 percent, and this amount will increase by another 15 percent when upgraded, bringing you to a total of 30 percent increased damage.

Its description is as follows, “Residual wind aether that, having failed to dissipate on the battlefield, has instead manifested into a solid form not unlike crystal, but with an elemental purity that renders it far more potent, if not highly specialized in its applications.” It can be acquired through the quest, Buried Memories, where it can be found in a chest where you fight the first Guardian.

21 Breath Of Wind (Gouge)

Final Fantasy 16 Favour of wind (Gouge)

This accessory will reduce the cooldown of your Gouge Ability. The amount of time reduced is 3 seconds, but this can be increased to a reduction of 6 seconds by upgrading this accessory.

Its description reads as follows, "Residual wind aether that, having failed to dissipate on the battlefield, has instead manifested into a solid form not unlike crystal, but with an elemental purity that renders it far more potent, if not highly specialized in its application.” This accessory is a reward for completing the Dark Clouds Gather quest.

20 Cleric’s Medallion

Final Fantasy 16 Cleric's medallion

With this accessory, you will be able to increase the effectiveness of your potions by 20 percent. This is a great way to not need to burn through your potions, as by the time you have used 5 potions, it’s as if you got a 6th one for free.

Healing from wounds is an important way of staying in the battle, and this can mean the difference between surviving a heavy hit with a single digit of health left over — or game over.

19 Badge Of Might

Final Fantasy 16 Badge of might

While Cleric’s Medallion focuses on giving you a little extra to your survivability, this accessory will give you a little extra behind your attacks. It will increase your attack by 12, and while this will soon become an accessory you will replace and forget about, it does help in the earlier parts of the game.

Also, it can make you feel much stronger than you actually are without it, adding to the game's experience. Much later into the game, you will get a hold of the superior Genji Gloves accessory, which makes an appearance later on this list.

18 The Eye Of The Warrior

Final Fantasy 16 Eye of the Warrior

This accessory is just a common one, but it can pack a big effect on every single one of your future encounters. This will increase the effects of Strength Tonics you use by 10 seconds.

This is not a lot of extra time, but it’s enough to add some extra damage numbers to your outgoing damage. It can be hard to get the maximum benefits by aligning all your attacks up just right, and this makes optimizing its usage a real pain.

17 Shiva’s Kiss

Final Fantasy 16 Shivas kiss

This accessory will reduce the cost of Diamond Dust by 7.5 seconds. Diamond Dust has a 75-second cooldown, making this a 10 percent cooldown reduction. Diamond dust is a great crowd control ability that will affect a large area, freeze enemies, and provide knockback.

Shiva's abilities have a good balance of providing you with defensive options and offensive ones at the same time. This accessory will only be available through the completion of the Side Quest called “Priceless.” If you never use the Diamond Dust ability, you can sell this accessory for 35,000 Gil.

16 The Golden Testament

Final Fantasy 16 Golden Testament

You will have many ways to make Gil in the game, so much so that you should never have to go way out of your way to farm it if you have been managing your use of it wisely. However, a lot of players will always want to have the very best gear the moment they see it, or burn through items at a much faster rate.

For these players, you will want to get and equip The Golden Testament. This accessory will allow you to gain an additional 35 percent Gil at all times and send your Gil reserves skyward.

15 The Wages Of War

Final Fantasy 16 Wages of War

A lot of players will not farm Ability Points, and will rather just let them come naturally from playing through the many features the game provides. You will earn these points from main quests and side quests from fighting enemies you pass by, as well as enemies from doing hunts.

Just by progressing, you will be getting ability points. However, if you want to increase the rate you get them so that you can master abilities faster, you can equip this accessory to gain an additional 20 percent ability points from all normal encounters.

14 Channeler’s Whispers

Final Fantasy 16 Channeler's Whispers

Channeler’s Whispers is an all-around great Accessory to have on you at all times if you use magic spells a lot. It will automatically start charging your magic spells for you, as well as maintain those charges until you choose to cast a spell.

This accessory will have no effect if you have not acquired the “Charged Magic” ability. So if you want to try it out, be sure to open your menu and learn it. Charged Magic is a really good Ability to learn early on.

13 Adamantite Gauntlets

Final Fantasy 16 Adamantite Gauntlet

These are the first of three Accessories of the highest caliber in the entire game. These will focus on giving you a much larger health pool. They will increase your total hit points by a solid 500 points. This will indeed make you a lot tankier, but relying on a high-health pool means you are neglecting optimal damage output.

This is a great Accessory if you feel you need more health and get knocked around a lot in battles. However, once you can effectively avoid damage and heal up from the odd hit, you can put a larger focus on the damage you dish out to take down your foes before they can take you down. You can get this item by collecting renown from the various hunts in the game.

12 Cobalt Tassels

Final Fantasy 16 Cobolt Tassels

This Accessory will increase your build-up of Limit Break whenever you take damage. The amount you receive is 6 percent. This accessory has a companion accessory that it can be used in tandem with to greatly help bring up the frequency you get to use your Limit Breaks.

RELATED: Final Fantasy 16: Difficulty Settings Explained

Your Limit Breaks are an invaluable tool to make use of. They will help you in shredding through groups of enemies and unload a lot of damage into a single one as well.

11 Crimson Tassels

Final Fantasy 16 Crimson Tassels

Crimson Tassels are the companion accessories spoken of in the previous entry. This Accessory will also help you build up your Limit Break gauge much faster, but not by taking damage. Instead, you will gain an additional 3 percent towards your Limit Break whenever you deal damage.

Using Crimson Tassels and Cobalt Tassels together is highly recommended in long-lasting fights to get the most out of them. Be sure to take a Lionheart Tonic as well, which will keep adding to your Limit Break gauge over the next 99 seconds.

10 High Cleric’s Medallion

Final Fantasy 16 High Cleric Amulet

High Clerics Medallion is a must-have for players putting everything else into their damage output. This allows you to be more effective at recovering from a mistake. When your health falls to dangerous levels, crack open a High Potion.

Normally, this will give you 48 percent of your maximum hit points back, but High Cleric's Medallion will increase all of your High Potions by an additional 25 percent. This will dwarf the Adamantite Gauntlets' static value of an additional 500 HP with the number of hit points you will recover while wearing this Accessory.

9 Bahamut’s Mercy

Final Fantasy 16 Bahamut's Mercy

This accessory is similar to the Shiva's Kiss entry, as well as some other ones to come later in this list. This accessory will reduce the cooldown of one of your really heavy-hitting abilities. The ability that will be affected is Gigaflare, and its cooldown reduction will be 6 seconds.

Normally the cooldown is 6 seconds, so like before, this is also a 10 percent reduction. This accessory will be acquired once you complete the Side Quest called A Tail to Tell.

8 The Pull Of Darkness

Final Fantasy 16 Pull of Darkness

This is an accessory to make your top priority if you use Odin and their Eikon Abilities a lot. While most Eikons encourage you to master their abilities to use them with any of your other Eikons, Odin is very self-contained, with their abilities filling up a special gauge called their Zantetsuken gauge.

This accessory will let their Dancing Steel ability fill this gauge by an increased 25%, meaning every 4th use is like getting a 5th amount of generation for free.

7 Berserking Ring

Final Fantasy 16 Berserker Ring

This ring will give you an increase to your attack proficiency whenever you perform a precision dodge. This will make you a lot more effective in your offense whenever you are effective in your defense. Time your dodges perfectly and unleash an offensive onslaught against your foe with your follow-up attacks.

This might not be for everyone, as they might not be able to time every one of the dodges to make the most of this Accessory. Its requirement that you play an active role makes it one of the harder Accessories to wrap your skills around.

6 Genji Gloves

Final Fantasy 16 Genji Gloves

This accessory works in a similar fashion to the previous one, Berserking Ring. However, with Genji Gloves, there is no need to dodge. You will have a consistent 5 percent extra damage output at all times and this can really add up in long-running fights against enemy boss characters that have incredibly high health pools.

The best part is that you don't need to go on some arduous quest to get it, you acquire it by reaching 2365 Renown. This allows you to spread out the task of going about getting this accessory by just gaining some renown here and there between quests.
