While video games can be a blast to play solo, some games have a lot more potential when you team up with other players to take down bosses, dungeons, and world events. However, it can be hard trying to find players to team up with if you don't know anyone who plays.

Diablo 4 has a solution to that problem. Players have the ability to create their own Clans or join Clans that were created by others. These Clans work similarly to Guilds in other games. They are groups of players who share a common objective, whether that's PvP, PvE, Leveling, or any other major aspect of the game.

How To Join Clans

Diablo 4 Join or Create Clan

If you want to join a clan, you need to go to your menu. Then move over to the Clan section. From there, you will be greeted with 2 options. Either you can join a Clan or create a Clan.

Join A Clan

Diablo 4 Search Clan Screen

Selecting "Join A Clan" will bring you to this screen. This is the screen that will show you Clans once you put in the search criteria you are looking for. You will also see that there's a notice telling players you can only join a single Clan at a time.

Search For A Clan

Diablo 4 Search Clan

Hit the button shown at the bottom of your screen for searching Clans. You will then get a search bar to pop up. From here, you can search by the Clan's name, what language they speak, and what labels the Clan uses. Clans can use five labels including Casual, Hardcore, PvP, PvE, Leveling, and Social.

If you want a clan that is for a casual gamer, select casual. The Hardcore label is for veteran players who want to play in the Hardcore mode. PvP and PvE focus on player vs player and player vs everything respectively. Finally, leveling is for anyone wanting help with leveling. Social is for those wanting to make friends.

How To Create A Clan

Diablo 4 Create a Clan

Creating a Clan gives you the control. You will need to come up with a Clan name that hasn't been taken. You'll also need a Clan Tag. This is almost like a nickname for the Clan. It will be what other players can see without expanding someone's profile. You'll then have the option to fill out a Clan description, language, and the labels from earlier. Once you fill this out, you will be taken to a screen where you can design your Clan's banner or leave it as the default one the game gives you.
