Luckily, there's a way to keep these items once you find your first stash in the game. The wardrobe will come in handy as well, allowing you to transmog the gear that you've picked up on your travels.

Where To Find Stash & Wardrobe

At the very beginning of the game, the first town you will enter is Kyovashad. Once you are officially off on your own and able to explore the town to your leisure, you'll be able to find the first stash and wardrobe in the northern section, shown in the map image above.

All you will need to do is head inside the house, and into the bedroom on the right, you can find the stash and wardrobe. Just approach them to access each individually, and you'll be able to place your early game items in the stash and change up your clothing.

Outside this first region, there are four different cities on the map where additional stashes and wardrobes can be found. Each major city will have them, including Zarbinzet in Hawezar, Cerrigar in Scosglen, Ked Bardu in Dry Steppes, and Denshar in Kehjistan. In the four map images above, you can locate the stash and wardrobe in all four of these cities in the order mentioned. You can access these once you unlock each new town, and can return to them easily by unlocking the nearby waypoint.

How To Use Stash & Wardrobe

Once you access the stash, it will allow you to place up to 50 gear and weapon pieces to save for later. This is a great way to save any rare or legendary items you have picked up and want to upgrade later when you are higher in level. To get more tabs in the stash, you'll want to choose the plus sign next to the chest symbol, and you'll need to offer 100,000 Gold. Each additional tab afterward will cost another 100,000 Gold.

Right next to the stash you'll find the wardrobe. Inside here, you'll be able to change the appearance of your gear as much as you want. You will have to unlock transmog options overtime, though, which can be done through salvaging items at the Blacksmith. You can also change the pigment of your gear, so if you're feeling a pink garb one day and a green one the next, you can change it freely.
