One cool feature some games have is that players can pick their own titles. Usually, these titles come from players beating certain quest lines, defeating difficult bosses, or playing the game during a specific time. No matter how they are received, they usually mean the player put a lot of work into them.
Diablo 4 is a game that allows players to pick their titles. There is a lot to pick from, and players have to complete some pretty difficult challenges if they want to collect them all. Here is a guide on how to change your title and gain new ones.
What Is A Title?
A title is just a word or phrase that will show up under your character's name in the overworld and on their profile. It is not something that you have to have, but there are some pretty interesting ones if you want to spice up your profile a little.
How To Change Titles
Changing your title is pretty easy. First, you will want to go to your inventory. Then, you will want to navigate to where it says Profile (the upper left-hand side of the inventory).
This will bring up your character's profile. You will then be able to see if you have an Emblem or Title selected or if you are a member of a Clan. From here, you just need to edit your profile. You will see the prompt to pick what you want to edit.
Selecting the title option will bring you to the screen that displays all your titles. The grey titles are ones you can pick from. If they are black, then you have not unlocked them yet. You're able to pick a prefix and a suffix for your title.
How To Unlock Titles
Some titles will be extremely easy to unlock, others may take a long time. You'll need to complete Challenges in order to obtain new titles. The Challenges can be found on your menu. These can be as simple as reaching a certain level with a specific class to as difficult as beating the game on Hardcore mode. If you want to browse the Challenges, you can find some that reward titles and won't be too difficult for you.
There are some titles that will be available for specific classes and not others.
