The Necromancer has the unique mechanic, Book of the Dead. This will allow you to take on a managerial position of upgrading your various minions. This includes your skeleton warriors, your skeleton mages, and, of course, your Golem. This will make them better fit the build you are aiming to use. As you level up, you will acquire new summons to add to your army.

Unlocking The Necromancer’s Specialization

The two shrines players will interact with during the Necromancer Quest Call of the Underworld in Diablo 4

The Book of the Dead will become available to you automatically at level 5. This will give you your first taste of the powers you will later be able to wield with it. The Golem, however, will be unlocked once you complete the quest, Call of the Underworld. This is a unique quest that only the Necromancer has and will become available once you have leveled them up to level 15.

Which Golem Should You Use

The bone, blood, and iron golems from Diablo 4

The Necromancer has access to three Golem choices. These are Bone, Blood, and Iron. Bone is your go-to choice if you want a tank among your ranks. Upgrading it will allow you to get more corpses as it takes certain amounts of damage. Blood will steal life from enemies to keep itself alive while dealing damage. Upgrading it will have it take a percentage of the damage you suffer. Iron is your option when you favor attack over defense, as well as providing stun to enemies. Upgrading it will further increase the debuffs enemies suffer.
