Despite her charm, not everyone in Sanctuary is a fan of Lilith, and for good reason. Not long after she broke through the Void did she corrupt the hearts and minds of her children, unleashing their most sinister nature upon the rest of the world.

As you are exploring the areas in the Dry Steppes region, you will eventually come across a tablet that kicks off the side quest, Reject The Mother. Here is where you can find the tablet, and how to complete the quest.

Where To Find The Tablet

Tablet Location in reject the mother quest

If you have not yet explored the Dry Steppes, we recommend making a trip to one of the largest towns in this region, Ked Bardu. Found in the northwestern section of the map, Ked Bardu is positioned not far from where you will find the tablet that gives you the Reject The Mother quest. There are some challenging enemies in this area, so make sure you have completed Act 1 before venturing into these lands.

From Ked Bardu, head southeast into the area in the map image above, Here, you’ll have to face dozens of enemies as you make your way down the path to the tablet. Most likely, you’ll first discover this area while on a campaign quest with Lorath. However, it is possible to just go directly to the tablet and start the side quest. You will, however, have to face many more enemies and a boss if you do this side quest during the mission with Lorath.

After reading the tablet, you will have learned that you need to "Shout your rejection, 'no Mother of mine' at her towering statue in rift's hidden shrine." To find the statue of Lilith it is referring to, you’ll need to continue exploring this area until you reach the keep at the end of the trail.

Once you arrive, you will need to stand in front of the large statue and use the “No” emote. This emote isn’t initially equipped by default, so you’ll need to customize your emotes first. After using the emote, a chest will appear next to the statue and the quest will be complete.
