Diablo 4's side quests aren't the most thrilling of content, but they provide players with a welcome opportunity to learn more about Sanctuary. In these little quests, players are asked to gather materials, deliver messages, and solve puzzles.
The Pilgrim's Footsteps side quest is one of several such quests in which players are given only a vague note and expected to solve a puzzle. To finish this quest, you'll need your emote wheel and a little faith. For details on where to find the quest and how to complete it, keep reading.
Where To Find The Pilgrim's Footsteps Quest
The Pilgrim's Footsteps Quest is located in the Amber Sands zone of the Kehjistan region. To begin the quest, players will need to locate and read a Blood Spattered Scroll on the ground in a courtyard.
How To Complete The Pilgrim's Footsteps Quest
Once you've interacted with the note to begin the quest, the first step is to read this note carefully. It is the only clue you receive for how to complete the quest. It reads:
Walk the road of faith to a lone desert chapel. Stand at Akarat's feet, follow his example, and be rewarded.
After closing the note, you'll notice that a location to the North has been marked on your map. If you do not see this, make sure the Pilgrim's Footsteps quest is currently tracked.
- Once at the chapel, go to the small courtyard on the right side of the building. There should be a statue of Akarat here.
- Stand in front of the statue.
- Perform the Follow emote to complete the quest. This should be bound by default to your action wheel unless you've removed it.
You'll need to open a chest that spawns nearby (between the benches on the right of the courtyard) to claim your reward.
Rewards For Completing The Pilgrim's Footsteps Quest
Once the game has registered that you've done the proper emote, a chest will spawn nearby. Inside you will find two Elixirs of blue quality. Additionally, players will receive +10 Renown, level-synced gold, and level-synced experience.
