Diablo 4 features an expansive open world, chock-full of world bosses, events, dungeons, and more. But the first step in exploring this map is finding all the Waypoints, which serve as Diablo 4's fast travel system.

It should go without saying but, it's much easier to explore when you can teleport out of dead ends and cross the map at a moment's notice. Fast travel is a staple of nearly every open-world game and Diablo 4 is no exception. Here's a list of all the Waypoint locations in Diablo 4's first zone, the Fractured Peaks. These will come in handy if you want to return and explore one of the many great dungeons you passed by to hunt down some Aspects for your Codex of Power.

Updated by Chad Thesen on July 2, 2023: Diablo 4 has a ton of really great dungeons to dive into and explore, and inside these dungeons will be some great loot to get your hands on. This guide has been updated to include an embedded link for players to check out a list of some of the best dungeons the game has to offer, as well as another embedded link that will tell them everything they will ever need to know about Aspects.

Kyovashed

The player looks at the Kyovashad Waypoint Location.

The first Waypoint you should pick up is located at the heart of Kyovashed, the capital city of the Fractured Peaks which you can find in the center of the region. You'll be led past this Waypoint as you start your first quests in the region, but the game won't explicitly tell you to activate it.

Make sure you grab this one early so that you don't have to backtrack later. There are also a ton of advanced services available in this city including accessing your stash, changing the world tier, imprinting aspects, and upgrading gems. You might not use these services every time you come back from a dungeon, but you'll definitely need them a few times before heading into the second act.

Yelesna

The player looks at the Yelesna Waypoint Location.

Yelesna is likely the second Waypoint you'll unlock in the Fractured Peaks. Located to the bottom right of the region, just below The Darkened Way, a dungeon where most of the main quests in the first act take place, Yelesna is a must-grab Waypoint that will help you jump out and into the main quest line whenever you want. Follow the road from Kyovashad to reach it.

While Yelesna only has the basics you'd need in between quests, it can still serve as a decent home base for a significant part of the first act. More important than its services is its location, which lets you explore the bottom of the map easily.

Bear Tribe Refuge

The player looks at the Bear Tribe Refuge Waypoint Location

Bear Tribe Refuge is an easy-to-miss Waypoint in the top right of the Fractured peaks that, like Yelesna, will help you jump between points in the main quest line with ease and explore the expansive right side of the region. However, it can be very easy to miss since there are no roads leading to the Waypoint.

If you want to find Bear Tribe Refuge, deviate from the road towards the middle-left of the Seat of The Heavens area. You'll find two mountain paths that lead you to the hidden Waypoint. There isn't much in the way of services in this secluded town, only a blacksmith, armor vendor, and healer, but its location makes up for what it lacks as this Waypoint can easily save you from running through the same stretch of map three or four times.

Menestad

The player looks at the Menestad Waypoint Location.

Menestad is the second-biggest village in the Fractured Peaks, located in the top left of the Fractured Peaks region. While there's not much in the way of quests around this Waypoint, it's close to tons of dungeons and is easy to grab at the end of the first act. On top of that, it's the only Waypoint in the top left, making it a must-grab if you plan on exploing the Fractured Peaks.

As far as services go, Menestrad boasts an impressive array of vendors. While it doesn't offer many advanced services, this town has weapons, armor, and rings for sale at its three vendors. It also has a handy stable that can help you explore Scosglen or the Dry Steppes.

Margrave

The player looks at the Margrave Waypoint Location

Margrave is an odd Waypoint that, while important, likely won't help you much in the early game. Margrave is located directly below Kyovashad, uncomfortably close to Yelesna. On top of this, there aren't many dungeons nearby, making Margrave ultimately an unimportant Waypoint.

Even in terms of services, Margrave doesn't have much to offer except the basics and a stable to customize your horse. However, this Waypoint is one of the closest ones to Hawezar. When it comes time to explore this late-game region in full, Margrave will likely be where you set out from.

Nevesk

The player looks at the Nevesk Waypoint Location

Nevesk is the corrupted village featured in the tutorial, and wouldn't you know it, there is a Waypoint here, but you'll have to revisit the town after making it to Kyovashad before activating it. Located in the bottom left of the map, Nevesk suffers the same fate as Margrave in terms of usefulness: too many Waypoints nearby, not enough to do.

On top of that, Nevesk has a depressing array of services, only hosting a blacksmith to scrap your loot and a healer to top off your health. Still, activating this Waypoint will give you a decent chunk of renown in the region, which can come with all sorts of bonuses.

Nostrava

The player looks at the Nostrava Waypoint Location

Nostrava is the elusive seventh Waypoint in the Fractured Peaks, as, unlike other Waypoints, you can't just stroll in and activate it without a hassle. Instead, if you want to unlock the Nostrava Waypoint, you'll first have to defeat the Stronghold that is located there. After doing so, you'll revitalize the town and be able to fast travel back all you want.

Located in the bottom left of the Fractured Peaks, however, it's hard to argue that the Nostrava Waypoint is all that important. There isn't much nearby, and the only notable services offered are a weapons vendor and a stable.
