Hawezar, a sprawling swampland infested with snakes and cultists that revere them, is the fifth and final region of Diablo 4's open world. Like all the regions before it, one of the most important things you can do is find all the Waypoints as soon as you can.

Waypoints are the cornerstone of Diablo 4's fast travel mechanic, allowing you to cross the map in seconds and turn what would be a tough hike through enemy territory into a pleasantly short stroll. Hawezar only has six Waypoints you'll need to unlock, but not all of them can be discovered right away. Here's a brief rundown of where you can find each Waypoint and what you'll need to do to activate them.

Zarbinzet

Zarbinzet is the shining capital of the swamps, hosting all sorts of services and acting as the leaping point for quite a few quests. Located in the bottom left of Hawezar, this Waypoint also lets you access a decent portion of the region with relative ease, and you can activate it at any time just by strolling up to it and clicking.

As for services, Zarbinzet has everything you could ask for and more. Like the other capital cities in the game, it is the only Waypoint in the region to offer specialty services like combining or unsocketing gems at a jeweler, equipping aspects with an occultist, upgrading your health potion, and much more.

Wejinhani

Located in the top middle of the region, Wejinhani is a relatively small swamp town with a well-placed Waypoint. While you can access this Waypoint at any time, the main quest line of act five will have to visit the area, providing the perfect excuse to activate fast travel in this town. You'll have to revisit this town a handful of times throughout act five, so it's a great Waypoint to pick up early.

As for services, this town offers the basics of a few vendors and a blacksmith along with the surprising inclusion of an alchemist. These services make it a great place to stop in between dungeons, and its location in the top middle of the region is perfect for reaching a handful of otherwise isolated dungeons.

Backwater

Backwater is the port town of this lowland region, sitting along the coast in the bottom left of Hawezar. You can activate this Waypoint at any time, and while it is quite far away from all the other Waypoints, its location leaves a little to be desired. While it's the closest fast travel point to quite a few dungeons, it's not particularly close to many of them, meaning you'll still have to walk a fair distance if you're forced to travel to Backwater.

What it lacks in location, however, it seems to make up for in terms of services. The town hosts all sorts of vendors that sell weapons, armor, and even jewelry as well as a blacksmith to upgrade or salvage your gear. On top of that, you can find an additional curiosities vendor in this town

Ruins Of Rakhat Keep: Inner Court

The Ruins Of Rakhat Waypoint, located in the center of the region, is the first one that you'll have to progress in the main quest line to unlock. Donan will ask you to find a way into the keep, and there you'll be able to activate the Waypoint which will let you travel back here to complete a handful of quests.

There are no services whatsoever at the Ruins Of Rakhat, but the Waypoint will still be quite useful as it's directly used in a handful of quests in the area, drastically cutting down on your travel time. Even outside of the quests, the central location of the Waypoint makes it an easy favorite, and on top of that, there are two dungeons inside the ruins that are within spitting distance of the fast-travel location.

The Tree Of Whispers

The Tree Of Whispers is the second main quest-related Waypoint, dominating the top right of the region. This Waypoint is used quite a few times throughout the campaign, and once the campaign is complete, you'll use this Waypoint to turn in Whispers of the Dead that you collect around the map. On top of that, it still serves as a convenient fast-travel location, letting you reach a handful of nearby dungeons.

Interestingly enough, this Waypoint offers a balanced array of services. There's a jewelry vendor that you can sell gear to, a blacksmith to salvage items, and access to your stash, so you can put away anything you'd like to keep. Altogether, this makes this Waypoint one of the most convenient places to access these basic services in the game.

Vyeresz

The sixth and final Waypoint in Hawezar sits in the bottom middle of the map. This old swamp town turned snake cult haven is originally a stronghold, and to turn it into a Waypoint, you'll have to storm in, open the path behind a ritual door, and slay the oversized naga at the end.

In terms of services, this Waypoint offers the basics and nothing more. It serves as a decent base in between dungeons, but its main draw is its location. Sitting next to seven dungeons, Vyeresz is a must-grab Waypoint if you plan on running these dungeons in the late-game.
