Whether you're trying to increase your region's renown or farm some fancy new aspect, dungeons are a core part of Diablo 4, and to do them, you'll have to find them scattered throughout the world. The Dry Steppes, like any other region, have their share of these side dungeons, but there's an easier way to find the dungeons you want than just running around.

After all, not all dungeons will be on the map — depending on what you've done in the region. Some will be locked behind strongholds, and others might only be available after completing certain quests. Here's where you can find all the dungeons in the Dry Steppes and a list of the ones you'll have to unlock first.

All of the Dry Steppes Dungeon Locations marked on a map.

There are 21 dungeons for you to discover spread around the Dry Steppes, and most of them aren't that hard to find. The map will automatically fill out for you in large chunks, so if you even get close to a dungeon you're trying to find, your map should update, and it'll be added as a marker.

If this doesn't happen, that likely means the dungeon you're trying to enter is locked behind a quest or stronghold. You'll have to complete that content first before the dungeon will appear on your map.

Each Dungeon offers an Aspect reward related to a specific class, so make sure to hunt down any dungeons that contain an Aspect of interest!

Locked Dungeons In The Dry Steppes

Of the 21 dungeons in the Dry Steppes, only 13 can be discovered simply by stumbling across them. The other eight dungeons are locked behind either main quests or strongholds.

Five dungeons are locked behind a few quests in act three. Namely, the Dark Ravine, Forgotten Depths, Guulrahn Slums, Guulrahn Canals, and Whispering Vault all must be moved through as part of a quest before they become available to complete in the open world.

As for stronghold dungeons, there are only three in this region. Two dungeons, the Shifting City and Pallid Delve, are locked behind the Ruins of Qara-Yisu stronghold, while the other dungeon is uncovered after you beat the Onyx Watchtower stronghold. Believe it or not, the Temple Of Rot Stronghold does not unlock any additional dungeons.
