Aspects are going to be a crucial component to your builds in Diablo 4, and you can find them in a variety of ways throughout the game. Grinding them out and adding them to the right piece of equipment is exactly what you'll need to do to bring your build to its perfect state.

The Edgemaster's Aspect is a legendary aspect that can bring any of your builds to a new level of offensive efficiency. It can be used by multiple pieces of equipment and is rather easy to get ahold of once you know how to do it.

What Does Edgemaster's Aspect Do?

Diablo 4 - Edgemaster's Aspect

The Edgemaster's Aspect will increase the damage of your Skills by 10-20% based on your available Primary Resource, with the highest amount of damage coming when you have the maximum amount of Primary Resource available.

For those wondering, each Class has a Primary Resource that they use for many of their skills:

Class

Primary Resource

Barbarian

Fury

Druid

Spirit

Necromancer

Essence and Corpses

Rogue

Energy

Sorcerer

Mana

Many Skills will allow your character to build their Primary Resource up as you fight, which means that you can easily gain more as you go. It naturally also means that using the Edgemaster's Aspect can give you a solid bump in order to dish out even more damage.

There aren't any specific builds that you should plug it into, necessarily, but the Edgemaster's Aspect is a great overall Aspect that you can plug into just about anything. Of course, if your build is more offense-oriented, then the Edgemaster's Aspect is going to do a lot more for you than it would with a defensive-minded build. However, that doesn't mean it can't be useful for a defensive build, since it can help make up for the offense you are lacking through other areas.

Where To Get Edgemaster's Aspect

Diablo 4 - The Downs on Map

Even better, the Edgemaster's Aspect can be found pretty easily since there is one spot that you will be guaranteed to get it: the Oldstones dungeon.

This dungeon can be found to the north of Kyovashad in Fractured Peaks, in the Downs area of the map. The dungeon is a typical dungeon experience where you will need to bring a Stone Carving to a pedestal, then collect a resource from specific enemies, and finally, take down the dungeon's boss to complete it. Once the dungeon is done, you will be given the Edgemaster's Aspect through your Codex of Power.

Any Aspect you are given through your Codex of Power will come with the lowest value within the range given.

If you want to get the Aspect with some higher stats, then you will need some luck and have to extract it from a Legendary item and sacrifice the item you have. It's never a given that your Legendary item will extract the Edgemaster's Aspect, so it's a gamble.

Further, you can gamble more by using your Murmuring Obols with the Purveyor of Curiosities for Offhands. These items won't necessarily be Legendary, but if you get a Legendary Offhand item, then the Aspect you extract from it will always be offensive. It's never a given thing, but this is the best way to try and maximize your odds.
