Demon’s hearts are one of the many kinds of Monster Parts that you will be coming across through your crusade against the desolated lands of Diablo 4. You will be acquiring them by slaying different kinds of enemies throughout the game.
These Monster Parts are used to upgrade different kinds of potions for you to use in your journey. This can be done by interacting with one of the game’s many different Alchemists. The other Monster parts to be aware of are Paletongue, Grave Dust, and Crushed Beast Bones.
Where Do You Get Demon’s Hearts From?
You will be able to get Demon’s Hearts from slaying enemies in the game. You will need to slay specifically demon enemies in order for them to drop, though. Having a higher world tier can help with the drop rate.
Where Can You Farm Demon’s Heart’s From?
Luckily for players, there is an enemy that players can farm for these Demon’s Hearts. The enemy in question is Almunn. Move to the Area indicated on the map; this location is part of the Dry Steppes and is along The Scarred Coast. After you have slain Almunn, you can log out and log back in for a chance to make him respawn. Which is actually faster than if you needed to fast travel away and back again. Thankfully he is not a Super Unique Monster, which does not respawn when you try this.
What Are Demon’s Hearts Used For?
These Monster Parts have two options for upgrading your potions. They can be used to upgrade your healing potion to a Moderate Healing Potion. These potions will heal you for 255 Life instantly and also restore 35 percent of your maximum Life over the course of the next 3 seconds. You will need 5 Demon’s Hearts, along with 20 Gallowvine, 12 Howlers Moss and 900 gold. The second upgrade provided using this material is the Superior Healing Potion. This is a lot more resource costly, having you require 20 Demon’s Hearts, along with 20 Angelbreath, 36 Blightshade, 10 Forgotten Souls, 10 Fiend Rose, 20 Grave Dust, 36 Howler Moss, and 12500 gold. This will be worth spending, as it will instantly heal you 1,274 Life and an additional 35 Percent of your total Life over the next 3 seconds. You will need to accrue quite a lot of gold for this upgrade.
