It's recommended that before you approach Maugan's Works, you should be around Level 35 to avoid biting off more than you can chew. The dungeon will be in the region of Hawezar, south of Fractured Peaks.

Maugan's Works will be in the third section towards the western part of Hawezar, shown in the first image above. You'll find the entrance to the dungeon in an area of ruins, following down a staircase into a cellar. You'll then arrive in Maugan's Works, and you'll receive the following the Earthstriker's Aspect for the Barbarian class, which will do the following: After swapping weapons 10 times, your next attack will Overpower and deal 30 percent increased Overpower damage.

How To Complete Maugan's Works

The overall objective of Maugan's Works is to save 6 prisoners in total. As you first enter into the Interrogation Rooms, you'll want to defeat the knights and then make your way down the path to the west. As you follow down this path up ahead, you'll find the first prisoner to your right at the end of the hallway. As you free them, keep heading forward and defeat the enemies up ahead. Eventually, you'll arrive at a shrine on the right which you can use to gain an advantage in battle.

As you continue down the hallway, you'll find a locked door that will require a key to open. First, free the prisoner nearby to the door. Then, continue forward down the hallway to the next shrine to find the third prisoner.

You can find them right of the shrine, however, all that will be left of them is some remains. You'll want to lay them to rest, and then make your way down the western path past the shrine you just activated.

Make your way quickly through the enemies, and follow the path south to find the next two prisoners. One will be off to the left, while the other will be in the middle of the room. Then, continue south to find the last prisoner and lay their remains to rest.

You will now have an elite enemy appear, The Warmaster. Depending on your World Tier level, this could be an incredibly easy battle or relatively tough. The Warmaster has incredibly slow attacks, so you should have no issues avoiding him if you time your dodges well. He can also attach a chain to you, so whenever you see the Hellbinder being deployed, you'll want to get away as quickly as possible.

After the battle, follow the path on the right going back towards the eastern section of the dungeon. Then, head north towards the locked door you passed by earlier. You'll now be able to access this area.

Through here, you'll just want to follow the path ahead until you head down a staircase into the Deserter's Den. Go down the path to the west, and then head towards the south. In the very last room, you'll want to defeat all the enemies in the room while attempting to keep at least one of the hostages alive. The best way to defeat all of them while saving the hostages is to use an Ultimate Skill to take out a large amount of enemies at once.

Now, head back north towards the top of the map. You'll have a couple more elite enemies to run through, which will help you raise your level quickly. Now, follow the eastern path and take the hallway heading north. This will take you into the Council of Thieves room, where you'll take on the three final bosses: Sacred Physician, Grand Inquisitor, and Lord Commander.

For this section, we suggest using Skills that can hit multiple enemies at once, as well as Ultimate Skills to deal maximum damage. When you've successfully finished them off, you'll now have access to the Earthstriker's Aspect, available to the Barbarian class.
