Not many things give us the heebie-jeebies quite like stumbling into a massive spider lair. Well in Diablo 4, there are plenty of them that you will happen upon. And regardless of whether you are arachnophobic or not, you’ll have to squish a few bugs if you want to get the treasures inside.

One of the more important dungeons you’ll be able to explore in the Hawezar region is the Blind Burrows. Here, you can claim the coveted Aspect of the Tempest, and a bounty of other treasures as you squish and squash your way to victory. We’ll walk you through how to prepare, and what to expect once you enter the dungeon, so you can defeat the terrors inside.

Where To Find The Blind Burrows

Blind Burrows Map location in hawezar

You can find the Blind Burrows in the Hawezar region on the world map. You will naturally journey here during the fourth Act of the main story, but you can also head into these treacherous lands whenever you feel ready. Since there are some fearsome foes here, we do recommend being at least level 30 before you make this trip.

The easiest way to reach the Blind Burrows is to travel from either Zarbinzet or the Ruins Of Rakhat, depending on how much of the map you have unlocked. The latter is closest to the Fractured Peaks region, so if you are looking to head here earlier in the game, then that is your best starting point.

How To Prepare

Since you will be fighting a ton of spiders and maggots, you can expect to be constantly attacked with poison abilities. Because of this, make sure you have at least 30% poison resistance before you head inside. This will be especially important when fighting the boss.

In addition, spiders are pretty quick, so you’ll want to consider having some Crowd Control abilities equipped as well. They will help you keep them in control, and avoid you getting overwhelmed by their numbers. And if possible, it is a great idea to use an Elixir Of Beast-Slaying. This will give you a 20% damage buff against all the enemies inside the dungeon, and a nice 5% experience boost for 30 minutes.

How To Complete The Blind Burrows

Blind Burrows Enemies and map

Compared to some of the dungeons in the game, this one is thankfully pretty quick. For the first half, you’ll need to find and slay the three Infected Villagers positioned throughout the dungeon. Depending on what World Tier you are on, you can expect them to have 2-3 attack types, typically consisting of poison and mortars.

After slaying all the Infected Villagers, the fog wall will be lifted, and you’ll head into the final area to fight the queen spider, the Broodguard. She’ll use her webs to trap you in place while hitting you with a few pools of poison. This can be very lethal, so pay attention when you are moving around to avoid the webs.

About halfway through, she’ll also summon some enemies to attack you alongside her. This is a great time to unleash your Ultimate ability or use those crowd-control effects. After defeating her, you’ll unlock the Druid-specific Aspect of the Tempest, which increases the damage of Hurricane by 7% each second it is active.
